Elwood shule
Elwood Shule has always played a significant part of Melbourne Jewry and remains a powerful place of Jewish history and memory, as well as a vibrant centre for all Jews to connect, in a warm and welcoming environment, through an array of services and programs.
The Shule is now in need of refurbishment, including the window frames in both the main Shule incorporating the Adele Shaw stained glass windows and the Karafka Hall. Together with Tov for Tov, an independent Not-for-Profit organisation we are requesting your help to begin raising the funds needed to refurbish this great place of worship and historic religious structure for our community and our children. The Shule will retain in excess of 70% of the ticket sales. The promotion, registered as a raffle in Victoria, has a maximum of 7,000 tickets at $100 each. The prizes include two cars, return flights for 2 to Israel, return flights and accommodation for 2 at Club Med Phuket, a round brilliant diamond and much, much more. |
